L.E.A.N. Package (12-month)

Six comprehensive presentations given throughout a 12 month period based on L.E.A.N. concepts, Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition. Also includes two follow up sessions.

MONTH ONE: Lifestyle Workshop

During this workshop we will work with your employees to build the foundation for a year long journey to improve their overall health and wellness. We will help your employees set goals for the coming year and give ideas and support to see that these goals are achieved. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses in terms of health and wellness. They will also have tools to help begin to achieve lifestyle changes that will assist in reaching their goals.

MONTH TWO: Exercise Workshop

Let’s get moving! During this session we will emphasize the amount and types of exercise needed to burn calories to achieve weight loss and health benefits. We will cover BMI (body mass index) and BMR (basil metabolic rate) and give attendees information on how to improve these numbers through exercise. Attendees will leave with a personalized plan of exercise goals to work towards during the coming months.

MONTH THREE: Attitude Workshop

The key to overall success in any wellness plan is long term changes in one’s habits. This workshop will address those habits that need adjusting and give the attendees useful tools to effect change Simple ways to incorporate a buddy system of support and encouragement will be introduced. The attendees will leave feeling motivated and confident that they have the skills necessary to achieve their wellness goals.

MONTH FOUR: Nutrition Workshop

People today are inundated with information pertaining to diet and nutrition. In this workshop we will take it back to the basics and help each person wade through the onslaught of information to find a long term nutrition plan that works for them and their families. We will help them discover areas of their diet that need to be adjusted and how to make those changes lifelong. Each person will leave with a new understanding of how to eat to achieve maximum wellness benefits.

MONTH EIGHT: L.E.A.N. – Follow up Workshop 1

How are we doing? That will be the question for this session. We will review key points from the previous workshops and give fresh ideas to encourage continued efforts. Questions and concerns from attendees will be the focus, addressing issues that may have come up or questions about how to push past any plateaus. Specific tools will be given to help individuals continue on with their wellness efforts. The importance of maintaining these changes and making them part of a long term lifestyle will be addressed. Participants will leave refreshed and recommitted to maintaining their lifestyle changes.

MONTH TWELVE: L.E.A.N. – Follow up workshop 2

This will be a time to review the last twelve months and assess the achievements of the participants. The focus of this session will be teaching skills to help maintain the changes that have been made. Stumbling blocks to continued success will be discussed and tools will be given to overcome these obstacles. The need for accountability will be stressed and tips and ideas will be discussed on how to build supportive groups amongst co-workers. This will be not only a celebration of achievements but a spring board for future success!
